ZION CHURCH FAMILY -
The town of Whitmire in Newberry County, SC has been without water and does not have electrical power restored yet. They hope to have power by Friday/Saturday. Town officials were seeking aid in Lancaster and were directed to one of Hopewell’s members, Steve Eubanks, to see if they could help. Steve E. has asked Steve McDonald and Zion’s leaders to assist. We will be working to get supplies to them and provide a meal for the community. Some folks in our churches have already been asked to help and have begun to plan and organize this effort.
